It has been decided to create a comprehensive & reliable database of Registered / Active employers out of the various databases of EDP Department. This database shall contain details of all such employers whose credentials are completely verifiable. As a first step, it now contains the details of all such employers who have made any made any payment from 01-10-2004 to 31-03-2005.

2.         Registered Employers other than those mentioned in para-1 above have also been listed & are enclosed for further cleansing and up-dating. Any addition to this can only be made if the registered employer falls in any of the following categories: -

	03	Employer to whom a Show Cause Notice has been issued for non-payment.	C
	04	Employer under litigation.	D
	05	Where any Employee has paid his contribution under 9B.	E
	06	Employer registration after 31-03-2005.	F
	07	De-Registered Unit.	G
	08	None of the above	H

3.         The Beat Officers are directed to examine the attached lists carefully and mention the categories against the name of the employer

4.         The lists so prepared by the Beat Officer shall be verified by the respective Assistant Director (R&C) and vetted by the Regional Heads and sent to the Zone for further examination. These lists after due verification by the respective Zonal Heads shall be sent to the Chairman Secretariat for its final examination and inclusion in the database.
