Web Based e-mail Communication System

OBJECTIVES
  • Establish an effective & modern communication system
  • Minimize communication delays
  • Improve efficiency in day-to-day business
  • Increase transparency
  • Reduce mailing cost
  • Enables Institution to acquire data electronically from stakeholders
  • Ease Interaction between Head Office/Departments/Region

Operating Instructions (for creation of Internet Accounts)

  • Double Click My Computer at Desk Top

  • Double Click Dialup Networking

  • Double Click Make New Connection (A window "Make New Connection Would appear, asking following)

-- Type a name for computer you are dialing

  • Type PAKNET or CYBERNET

  • Click Next  ( Another window “Make New Connection” would appear, asking following)

--- Type the Phone No. for the Computer you want to call

  • Type Area Code (of your city)

  • Type Phone No (Telephone no. of your ISP  such as  13133333 or 13134560)

Third window “Make New Connection” would appear, with a massage

--- You have successfully created a new dialup networking connection

Click Finish

An Icon of Dialup Internet Connection would be created, with a title Paknet

  •  Click Restore Button on top right of above window      

  • Click Paknet or Cybernet Icon once and press right mouse button to Drag the Icon of Paknet or Cybernet

  •  Drop the same onto Desk Top and Click

--- An Icon of Paknet or Cybernet  internet connection would be created onto your Desk Top

Operating Instructions (for usage of e-mail communication system)

  • Double Click Cybernet Shortcut/Icon onto your Desk Top

  • Enter User Name (Internet Login ID)
  • Enter Pass word   (As provided) 

--- (Your Internet Services/Account would be activated)

  • Click Internet Explorer at Desk Top

  • Activate website of  EOBI by typing www.eobi.gov.pk at “Address” bar in Internet Explorer
  • Click “E-Mail Communication” at Home Page of EOBI Site

        --- (a web page with a title WEB BASED E-MAIL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  would appear)

      --- A dialog box would be activated asking

     --- Login/User (Enter your E-mail Address e.g. (nazimabadregion@eobi.gov.pk)

     --- Password    (as provided)

      --- Click Login

An E-mail interface  window would be activated

·        Inbox                                         (to check email)

·        Compose New Massage         (to send e-mail)

·        Log off                                       (Quit)

--- Chose any above option, as per your requirement

  • All Officers (involved in official correspondence)
  • All Staff Members (involved in official correspondence)

Functions
  • Inter Office Communication

  • Communication with International agencies, like ILO, ISSA etc
