           SIMPLIFICATION OF FORM TO REDUCE COMPLIANCE COST

It has been observed that employers are placed on under excessive burden through requisition of large number of information within short intervals thereby increasing their compliance cost and encroachment on their precious time. After prolonged discussions and deliberations on the subject in collaboration with employers and employees representatives it has been decided to reduce the number of forms required to be filled up by the employers. Five forms currently in vogue i.e. (PR-04, PE-01, PI-11, PI-11A & PI-11C) have been replaced by one form (PR-02). A comprehensive chart showing replacement of old forms by new ones is attached.

 2.     The examination of the annexure shows that now the employers would be at much relieved to submit the requisite information only once. i.e. at the time of registration of the  establishment/industry or at the close of financial year. However at time of any change in the employment, he will submit the particulars of change on form PR-02B. It is evident from the information called by the newly introduced forms, that  there would be no need for visit of the officials of the Institution to the premises of the employers for any verification whatsoever if the employer furnishes full information in PR-02. Moreover the insured person shall also have complete record of their employment in the shape of Pass Book, which shall facilitate processing of his pension claim for pensionary benefits.
