CIRCULAR NO. 06/2002-03

 

Subject:

SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS LEADING TO CONSISTENT PROGRESSIVENESS OF LAW, RULES AND REGULATIONS

)                

          

1.   It has been noted that communication and consultative process on legal and administrative amendments is not operating effectively.

2.   It has, therefore, been decided to formalize the process of annual improvement in system, procedure and law. The changes needed to solve legal impediments experienced by the officers during the year, shall be noted and brought to the notice of management and the Board towards the close of financial year alongwith recommendations for amendment in law, rules & regulations and instructions with full details. The proposals shall be submitted by Divisions, Chambers / Employers' Federation and Employees' Federations in accordance with following schedule.

  • From Divisions/ Zonal / Regional Offices of EOBI ( by 31st December ).

  • From Chambers / Employers' Federation etc        ( by 31st January ).

  • From Employees' Federation / Union etc.,           ( by 28th February ).

3.    The proposal shall be examined and required amendments shall be put up to the Board for its consideration in the month of April. The final recommendations shall be formulated and forwarded to the Labour Division for incorporation in the Law.

4.    This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
